“At our graduation we were bound by enormous affection, by our shared experience of a time that could never come again, and, of course, by the knowledge that we held certain photographic evidence that would be exceptionally valuable if any of us ran for Prime Minister.”
― J.K. Rowling
In light of all the graduation ceremonies occurring at this time of year, I thought this irreverent photograph of Physicist and Nobel Laureate Albert Einstein might be a good reminder that, no matter how brilliant you are or how many advanced degrees you’ve earned, a good sense of humor will serve you well throughout your life. The photograph was taken in 1951 by press photographer Arthur Sasse as Albert Einstein exited the Princeton Club on the occasion of his 72nd birthday celebration.
